Since March 23, the Cooperation Area of the Diputación has been carrying out improvement works on five secondary road sections. These efforts, expected to conclude next week, aim to optimize infrastructure conditions ahead of the motorcycle event, scheduled between Friday, April 24, and Sunday, April 26, 2026.
The roads undergoing intervention include the CA-3104 (between Guadalcacín and Las Mesas), the CA-3107 (known as del Cinco al Cinco), the CA-4100 and CA-4101 (connecting to Nueva Jarilla), and the CA-4102 (from Las Mesas). All these routes are receiving drainage improvements, verge clearing, ditch cleaning and profiling, as well as road surface repairs to eliminate potholes using cold asphalt.
Notably, the CA-3104, specifically between kilometers 4 and 7, has been designated as an emergency route for authorized vehicles, public transport, and security devices. The tasks are being carried out by the Diputación's own staff, through its Conservation and Maintenance Brigades, supported by personnel from the public company Tragsa.
The operation also includes the replacement of both vertical and painted road signage, under a contract with the company Aceinsa Movilidad SA. In addition to these road infrastructure enhancements, the Diputación has renewed and expanded its sponsorship of sporting events held at the Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto, with an agreement worth 635,049 euros (VAT included) that will promote the ‘Destino Cádiz’ brand on the circuit's main advertising supports and digital platforms.
