The roundabout of the Free Trade Zone, a connecting point between the last residential areas and the industrial zone of Cádiz, exhibits a state of neglect manifested in various aspects. Vegetation has invaded the flowerbeds and pedestrian areas, with weeds growing between the paving slabs, creating a neglected appearance.
The deterioration extends to vertical elements, such as a palm tree requiring pruning, and the roots of other trees are lifting the ground, hindering pedestrian passage. The low walls of the streets converging at the roundabout also show signs of decay, with lost cladding and exposed bricks.
The situation does not improve in the underground parking, where users report pedestrian access closed due to poor conditions, deteriorated walls, and hazardous manholes. Added to this is the inactivity of the hospitality venue on the ground floor of the central building, whose facade is covered by netting due to ongoing works.
