The Cathedral Square will host the 24th edition of the Professional Craft Fair, running until January 5, 2027. This event will feature 20 stalls awarded to local artisans, following a selection process that received 23 applications.
The fair's primary objective is to showcase quality artisanal production, promoting its cultural, creative, and economic value. It aims to foster direct sales, strengthen the local and regional productive fabric, and promote responsible and sustainable consumption, thereby enhancing the city's Christmas offerings.
“"To promote public and social recognition of artisan work, as a cultural, creative, and economic expression, fostering professional dignity."
Concurrently, the City Council of Cadiz has initiated the tender for the classic convertible vehicle service that the Three Wise Men will use during their visits and the parade on January 5, 2027. Interested companies have until September 4 to submit their bids.
The contract, with a base budget of 10,285 euros (VAT included), requires the provision of five classic convertible vehicles with drivers, a minimum age of 25 years, elegant lines, and a well-maintained aesthetic, prioritizing light or striking colors and free from visible modern elements.
Furthermore, the deadline has closed for the design, assembly, and disassembly of the floats for the 2027 Three Wise Men Parade. This year's parade will feature a cinematic theme inspired by Christmas films such as 'Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory', 'Polar Express', 'The Nightmare Before Christmas', and 'The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh', in addition to the traditional floats for the Kings and the Royal Messenger.
