The Cadiz Provincial Council, through its Provincial Tourism Board, has carried out various promotional activities in Germany and Poland. These initiatives, aimed at both end consumers and international agencies and operators, seek to consolidate the province's image as an attractive destination.
In Germany, the Cadiz delegation was present at the Velo Berlin fair, held on April 11 and 12 at Tempelhof Airport. This event, specializing in cycling and urban mobility, brought together over 200 exhibitors and 17,500 visitors. The participation of the Board, alongside Turismo Andaluz and the Cadiz company Suites Cortijo Fontanilla, is part of the strategy to promote active and sustainable tourism.
In Poland, the province of Cadiz took part in the Spanish Event 2026, organized by the Polish tour operator Nekera, with working sessions in Krakow, Warsaw, and Gdansk. During these meetings, the Cadiz destination was presented to 300 Polish travel agencies, in collaboration with Turismo de la Provincia de Sevilla. The Polish market is considered strategic due to its population size and the constant growth in demand for international travel, with an average daily expenditure of 189 euros per tourist. Furthermore, since 2025, a direct air connection between Warsaw and Jerez de la Frontera Airport, operated by Enter Air and TUI Poland, facilitates the arrival of travelers during the high season.
Cadiz's offerings were also promoted at the III MEET Andalucía, an international meeting on language tourism held this year in Seville. The Board participated in the professional day on April 12, which gathered 55 professionals from 27 nationalities and 28 Spanish schools. Language tourism is a significant segment for Andalusia, concentrating 40% of Spanish language students in Spain and generating an economic impact exceeding 120 million euros annually. In Cadiz, this type of tourism is characterized by average stays of three weeks and a weekly expenditure of between 700 and 750 euros per student, contributing to seasonality reduction and the sustenance of local economic activity.
