A representative of the Popular Party has highlighted the effectiveness of the measures adopted by the Government of Juanma Moreno to boost employment in Andalusia, especially in Cádiz. These policies include tax reductions, investment and hiring incentives, and the simplification of administrative procedures, benefiting self-employed workers and SMEs, considered drivers of job creation and wealth.
“"Cádiz is reducing structural unemployment while creating real entrepreneurial opportunities and strengthening its productive fabric."
The latest statistics confirm that Cádiz was the Spanish province with the largest absolute drop in unemployment in March 2026, with 2,352 fewer unemployed people than in February and 13,024 fewer than in March 2025. Regarding affiliations, 426,180 registrations were recorded with Social Security, a new historical record, with 9,229 more affiliates than in February and 10,190 more than in March 2025. The number of self-employed workers reached 67,624, almost 800 more in the last year.
Since the end of 2018, the number of employed people has increased by 15.01%, adding 60,700 more individuals, positioning Cádiz as the third Andalusian province with the highest employment growth. During this period, the number of unemployed has decreased by 28,500 people, and the unemployment rate has fallen by 6.6 points.
“"In terms of employment, there are no miracles or coincidences, but effective recipes and policies that are applied by the governments of the Popular Party."
The commitment of the Popular Party is to maintain tax cuts in Andalusia, contrasting with other models that have increased the tax burden. The stability that has generated progress has been highlighted, evidenced by records in self-employed workers, business creation, industrial production, and foreign and technological investment. The goal of creating 600,000 jobs in Andalusia has been met, demonstrating that it is possible to manage things differently.
