The Spanish mobility company has achieved notable success in the province of Cádiz during the recent summer season. Between El Puerto de Santa María and Jerez de la Frontera, nearly 54,000 travel requests were recorded. The platform has experienced an excellent reception from both local residents and tourists, an impulse favored by the hiring of local drivers, the opening of the service to the taxi sector, and a competitive pricing policy.
The month of July stood out as the busiest, exceeding 32,000 requests, driven by the novelty of the service. In August, activity remained strong, with over 21,000 trips requested. Demand analysis shows that 70% of users already had the Cabify app from their home cities, while 30% were new users who signed up to use the platform for the first time in the province.
Regarding travel, El Puerto de Santa María established itself as the main hub of the summer operations, accounting for 88% of service requests. Following in importance are the Jerez Airport, Cádiz, and Chipiona. The company views these results as clear evidence of its successful expansion in the region and the need for efficient and accessible mobility options during peak tourist seasons on the Cádiz coast.
Through this initiative, Cabify aims to address the mobility challenges faced by the area, particularly during the summer. Improving transportation options is crucial in this strategic region, characterized by internal travel between towns, airport transfers, and a significant population increase during the summer months.
