The mayor of Chiclana de la Frontera, José María Román, has presented the novel Operación Lima Mike, written by officer Juan Antonio 'Nene' Correa, a work that humorously depicts experiences within a Local Police headquarters.

The presentation, held in Chiclana, was also attended by José Vera, municipal delegate for Local Police, and the author's mother. The novel delves into the daily life of a small-town police station, where routine transforms into a series of comical and often unbelievable situations.

"Today we present this entertaining and charming work, which tells anecdotes from the Local Police, some in a real sense and others with hyperbole about the events. Police matters are always complex, but here they are given a touch of humor."

José María Román · Mayor of Chiclana
Juan Antonio Correa, known as 'Nene', is an active police officer in Vejer. His 17 years of experience in the force have inspired this work, which combines reality with a humorous and exaggerated perspective. The author explained that the title, Operación Lima Mike, has a connection to Vejer's gastronomy, referring to 'lomo en manteca' (pork loin in lard).

"The book is born from the funny anecdotes that arise in the Local Police or by looking for the amusing side of things."

Juan Antonio Correa · Author of 'Operación Lima Mike'
