The political party 100x100 Unidos por Cádiz has unveiled its candidate list for the upcoming Andalusian elections on May 17, blending experienced local politicians with new profiles, aiming to secure provincial representation in the Parliament of Andalusia.

The electoral list of 100x100 Unidos for the province of Cádiz is characterized by a balance between veteran municipal politicians and the inclusion of figures without prior institutional experience. This composition seeks to reflect territorial diversity, including representatives from all regions of Cádiz.
The candidacy is led by Laura Román, who holds the position of number two in the Chipiona City Council, and by Sebastián Hidalgo, vice-president of the Diputación de Cádiz and a trusted associate of Juan Franco, mayor of La Línea and the party's main figure. The party hopes to secure one or two seats in the regional parliament, with the potential to be a key player in forming a government with the PP of Juanma Moreno.
Among the prominent names on the list are several mayors from the province, such as Luis Mario Aparcero of Chipiona, Miguel Alconchel of Los Barrios, and Olivia Venegas of Benaocaz. The mayor of La Línea himself, José Juan Franco Rodríguez, is also on the list in a lower position, following a zipper structure.

"We are starting our journey towards the Andalusian Parliament with a single objective: for the province of Cádiz to have its own voice, without intermediaries, and defending our interests. The province is not where it deserves to be, due to years of lack of investment, opportunities, and management."

Laura Román · Candidate for 100x100 Unidos por Cádiz
The main challenge for 100x100 Unidos in these elections is to translate the more than 40,000 votes obtained by its members in the 2023 municipal elections, under various local brands, into support for the Andalusian elections. Achieving this number of votes could secure them two seats, although current polls do not grant them representation.
