Construction work for the assembly of new walkways at Camposoto beach in San Fernando is underway. Currently, workers are focused on installing the structure for access point number four, using heavy machinery that also functions as a crane to handle the substantial wooden beams.
The City Council aims to have the installation at access point four ready by this weekend. Once completed, the team will proceed with placing the remaining walkways. These new structures are intended to replace the old ones, which were destroyed by storms last winter.
The municipal government, led by Patricia Cavada, approved a credit modification of 376,000 euros for the repair and improvement of these walkways. This investment is part of a package of budgetary actions aimed at enhancing the beach's infrastructure, recognized as a key destination due to its unique natural environment.
