The first, the Men's Field Hockey Final 4, will take place this Saturday and Sunday, featuring the top four teams from the Andalusian First Division: Áticos CH San Fernando, CD Málaga 91, CD SADUS Sevilla, and CHP Benalmádena. The local club enters the competition as the regional league leader.

Subsequently, from May 14 to 17, the same field will host the Men's Cadet Spanish Championship. This tournament will bring together eight of the most prominent national clubs, including RC Polo, Club Egara, Real Club de Campo Atlètic Terrassa, RC Jolaseta, Sanse Complutense, CHP Benalmádena, and the host CH San Fernando. The presence of these teams solidifies Pablo Negre's reputation as a benchmark for Spanish hockey.

The organization of both events will mobilize approximately one thousand people, including players, coaching staff, family members, and companions. This influx will generate a positive economic impact on the hospitality, commerce, and service sectors of La Isla, reinforcing San Fernando's role as a City of Sport.

The Pablo Negre facilities have recently undergone a comprehensive upgrade by the City Council, with an investment exceeding 350,000 euros. The most notable improvement has been the complete renovation of the turf, which now features the Pure EP system. This innovative dry hockey surface requires no irrigation, allowing for faster and more precise play, and has been approved by the International Hockey Federation (FIH), enabling San Fernando to host top-level competitions.

This technology makes San Fernando the first city in Andalusia to have a field with these characteristics, positioning it at the forefront of hockey in terms of sports performance and environmental sustainability. The improvements also include the modernization of the lighting system with LED technology and the reorganization of the parking area.
