The Chiclana City Council, through its municipal company EMSISA, will proceed in the coming weeks to paint the facades of the 200 homes in the Santa Ana neighborhood. This action will involve an investment of 123,739 euros, including VAT, and the maximum execution period for the works will be four months.
The company responsible for carrying out these maintenance and conservation works for the municipal public housing stock in the Santa Ana neighborhood will be Modo Caste SL, following the award process. These tasks correspond to Lot 2 of a total of three, which also includes other actions in the neighborhoods of La Carabina and El Carmen.
The municipal delegate for housing and vice-president of EMSISA, Francis Salado, indicated that, in addition to executing new housing developments, work continues on improving municipal housing stock with maintenance and painting actions. He highlighted that, regardless of the sales process to residents, efforts are also made to improve common areas, especially exteriors.
Salado emphasized that one of the main objectives of this Government team is to address citizens' needs, recognizing that housing is one of the most pressing concerns for the residents of Chiclana. Therefore, efforts continue to increase the number of social housing units by acquiring new plots for the construction of new VPO (Social Housing), as well as drafting projects for new developments, without forgetting the Ciconia Plan, through which housing is re-rented to families seeking social housing.
