The municipal delegate for Sports, Isabel Butrón; the Chiclana athlete Marina Saucedo, and the president of the Vipren Foundation, Miguel González, have presented the fourth edition of the Marina Saucedo Volleyball Technical Campus. This event will take place from August 3rd to 7th at the Ciudad de Chiclana pavilion, with the collaboration of the Vipren Foundation and the Chiclana City Council. The activity is aimed at athletes in the U13, U15, U17, and U19 categories, with limited places.
The campus will include training sessions with professional players, individual technique improvement, specific physical preparation, as well as sports and psychological workshops. The program details a functional bandaging workshop on Monday the 3rd, a physical preparation workshop on Tuesday the 4th, a nutrition workshop and a bachata workshop on Wednesday the 5th, a psychology workshop on Thursday the 6th, and a final tournament on Friday the 7th.
Isabel Butrón highlighted the campus's organization by Marina Saucedo, emphasizing that "it is a very complete campus, as it has numerous workshops" and that it "complements the wide range of sports activities that Chiclana offers in summer".
Marina Saucedo expressed her satisfaction about "returning to Chiclana" and having "numerous top-level athletes". She stressed that the campus aims to "form people, beyond sports", through workshops led by "great professionals".
Marta Marín, a participant in the campus, shared her positive experience since she was 14 years old, highlighting the technical improvement and the friendships made thanks to the "great professionals".
Miguel González, from the Vipren Foundation, stated their pride in sponsoring this fourth campus and congratulated Marina Saucedo on her career. He thanked the Chiclana City Council for their support in providing the sports facilities.
