The program, presented by the Councilor for Festivals, Ana M. Expósito, and the Councilor for Districts, Manoli Pérez, along with representatives from the Confraternity, Pilar Cobo and Fernando Siles, includes various activities for residents and visitors.
The festivities will begin on July 15th with the traditional proclamation at 11:15 PM, delivered by Emilio Jesús Ruiz González, followed by an evening of live music.
On Thursday, July 16th, the day of the Virgen del Carmen, the main events will start at 12:00 PM with Holy Mass. In the afternoon, at 9:00 PM, the solemn procession in honor of the Virgin will take place, accompanied by the Maestro Soler Musical Group. Afterwards, singer Irene Martínez will perform copla.
Saturday, July 18th, will feature the traditional Day Fair, a fun afternoon of water games for all ages, and as a grand finale, a performance by the quartet La Quinta Marcha and a musical set by DJ Louwings.
The Councilor for Festivals, Ana M. Expósito, highlighted the commitment of everyone involved in organizing the event, stating, "This is a fair prepared with great care by the Confraternity and the Neighborhood Association, and the City Council makes every effort to ensure this celebration proceeds with the dignity that Monte Lope deserves."
Expósito encouraged citizens and visitors to participate in the scheduled activities, which combine tradition, community, and fun in honor of the Virgen del Carmen.
