Recent actions have focused on removing accumulated leaves, garbage, and other waste, particularly from the embankments and margins of the parking lots adjacent to the «José Luis Mañas Rincón» Medical Center. Work also includes the replacement and maintenance of litter bins distributed throughout the municipality.
The council reminds citizens of the importance of using the designated litter bins and containers, as well as the obligation for pet owners to collect their pets' excrement to keep public spaces in the best condition for everyone.
Special emphasis is placed on the care of the Guadalquivir River, urging citizens not to use its banks as a dumping ground and to dispose of waste in the appropriate locations.
The City Council has thanked the municipal cleaning services for their work and highlighted that a cleaner Villa del Río also depends on citizen cooperation.
Residents are encouraged to report any issues or needs for action in streets, squares, or parks to the Urban Planning department by calling 957 17 70 17 or 654 792 731 during business hours, or through the «Villa del Río Informa» application.
