The alert for his disappearance had been classified as high vulnerability. He was last seen driving a black Toyota van.

Public cooperation was crucial in resolving the case. According to SOS Desaparecidos, thanks to the information received, the vehicle he was driving was located first, and subsequently, Juan L. P. himself.

After being found, Juan L. P. was transferred to a hospital during the early hours of the morning for a full medical evaluation of his health condition.
