The Provincial Council of Granada will allocate €149,040 to the rehabilitation of the municipal swimming pool in Válor, as part of the Provincial Plan for Sports Facilities. The main objective of these works is to improve the pool basin, complementary facilities, and changing rooms, thereby ensuring greater safety and accessibility.
The provincial deputy for Sports and Sports Facilities, Eric Escobedo, visited the municipality and met with the mayor, Juan Antonio Sánchez, to discuss the details of the project. The total investment amounts to €162,000, of which the provincial institution contributes the majority (€149,040), while the Válor City Council covers the remainder.
Escobedo emphasized the Council's commitment to modernizing sports facilities in municipalities, particularly in smaller towns where provincial support is crucial. He highlighted that the rehabilitation of the Válor pool will contribute to revitalizing the local social and sports life, ensuring that all citizens of Granada have access to quality public services for healthy leisure.
For his part, Mayor Juan Antonio Sánchez expressed his gratitude to the Provincial Council of Granada, acknowledging that such collaborations are essential for the growth of towns and the provision of quality services to residents.
The works will include the complete rehabilitation of the pool basin, as well as improvements to the adjacent facilities and changing rooms, aiming to adapt the infrastructure to current needs and extend its useful life.
