The electoral day in the province of Almería saw a 36.80% turnout by 2 PM, with 178,387 voters. This figure represents an increase of 4.57 percentage points compared to the Andalusian elections in 2022 at the same time, when 150,975 people voted (32.23%).
However, the general upward trend was not reflected in all municipalities. A total of 20 out of Almería's 103 municipalities experienced a decrease in participation compared to previous elections. Most of these are small towns with fewer than 1,500 inhabitants, with the exception of Gádor, which has 3,130 residents and recorded a 0.48-point decrease.
In contrast, Terque leads in increased participation with 59.46% (16.25 points higher than in 2022), followed by Olula de Castro (51.07%, +11.79 points) and Purchena (41.31%, +11.64 points).
