Following recent appearances in the provincial capital and Roquetas de Mar, the Vox leader will travel to the heart of Níjar's old town, a municipality considered an electoral stronghold for the party. The Plaza de la Glorieta, known for its picturesque setting of whitewashed houses and artisan shops, will be the meeting point with the media.
The visit, scheduled for 1:00 PM, underscores the strategic importance that the province of Almería, particularly regions like Poniente Almeriense and Níjar, hold on the party's agenda. This focus intensifies ahead of the upcoming elections on May 17 in Andalusia.
“"Vox seeks to consolidate the party's message, based on national priority, rural areas, and migration, in one of its main electoral strongholds in the province."
In the general elections of July 2023, Vox emerged as the second most voted force in Níjar, securing 2,452 votes. Months earlier, in the municipal elections, the party won a councilor seat in the Níjar City Council with 646 votes, reinforcing the party's interest in maintaining and expanding its influence in the area.
