The enormous national flag, which presides over the entrance to the Port of Almería, returned this Sunday midday. The flag had been torn by the wind on June 20th, coinciding with the defeat of UD Almería in their promotion aspirations against Málaga.
Its return occurs on a day marked by anticipation for the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina. The City Council has promoted its restoration as a gesture of support for the national team.
This nod to the national team joins other initiatives in the city. The Casa de las Mariposas, owned by Cajamar, has illuminated its facade with red and yellow colors, adding to the atmosphere of support spreading through various parts of Almería.
