The INV service station, located in the La Forja industrial estate in Vélez-Rubio, has ended a period of unusually low prices that made it the cheapest gas station in Spain for diesel. After several weeks of maintaining the liter at 1.28 euros, the price has now risen to 1.79 euros, according to Monday's update from the Geoportal of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge.

During Holy Week and the following days, this supply point in the Los Vélez region became a magnet for drivers from across the province and beyond. The price difference, which reached up to 80 cents per liter compared to other stations, generated a significant flow of vehicles seeking to take advantage of the savings, especially when diesel exceeded two euros at many gas stations in the provincial capital of Almería and other population centers.

With this increase, the INV gas station loses its competitive advantage, and its prices are now on par with the average of other stations in the province of Almería. This change restores normality to the local fuel market, where price differences between stations are once again minimal and conditioned by the general evolution of energy costs.
