Real estate wealth could become the primary factor of inequality, shaping the medium-term future for population segments like young people, who will not inherit family homes, or economic migrants. This hypothesis is the core of a research project funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
The project, titled "The Housing Question: Market Tensions, Socio-Spatial Inequalities, and Residential Vulnerability in Southern Spanish Cities (Viviendigna)", is led by Jaime Jover, a researcher at the Institute of Advanced Social Studies (IESA-CSIC), and Estrella Cruz, a researcher from the University of Seville (US).
