The tranquility of the La Envía Golf urbanization in Vícar was interrupted around 6:50 AM this Friday by a violent shooting. Residents heard up to seven consecutive shots, accompanied by a loud prior altercation with shouts and insults, which prompted an immediate alert to the authorities at 7:00 AM.
Agents of the Guardia Civil quickly arrived at the scene, where they found numerous broken glass fragments and spent shell casings. The shots were primarily aimed at a high-end Audi with German plates that was empty inside, receiving five direct hits. Two other projectiles impacted the facade of a nearby house.
The Almería Command has confirmed that there are no reports of injuries resulting from the incident. The Benemérita has launched an investigation to clarify the causes and locate the perpetrators. Security forces have already identified a vehicle that fled at high speed after the shooting.
Sources close to the investigation suggest that the incident could be related to an alleged settling of scores linked to drug trafficking, although the case is in its initial stages.
