The political map of Almeria reflects a significant shift in vote distribution. While the Popular Party has consolidated its position as the most voted force in 87 municipalities, the PSOE has seen its influence contract towards a group of inland towns, the Alpujarra region, and the Almanzora Valley.

Despite this loss of territorial reach, the electoral data presents a paradox. The socialist party has managed to increase its absolute number of votes compared to the 2022 elections, surpassing 58,000 ballots. This phenomenon is explained by the increase in voter turnout, although it was not enough to prevent a decline in its overall vote percentage.

Socialist resistance is concentrated in small population centers. In municipalities such as Almocita, Terque, or Bacares, the party exceeded 50% of the votes. Other enclaves like Cantoria, Lubrin, or Bedar also remain key support points for the party in a provincial context where the Poniente region and large cities like El Ejido or Roquetas de Mar lean heavily towards other political options.

The analysis of the results highlights a loss of centrality for the PSOE in areas with higher population density. This trend, added to the emergence of new dynamics in municipalities like Fiñana, where other forces have altered the traditional bipartisanship, paints a scenario where the socialist map survives with local roots, but with a more limited provincial influence than in previous years.
