A representative from the PP of Almería has urged citizens to support their party in the regional elections, arguing that it is crucial for the province to continue progressing in infrastructure. The need to choose between the continuity of a model of order and security or entering a scenario of political instability has been highlighted.
“"On May 17, we will have to decide whether we continue on this Andalusian path of order, stability, and security, or if we enter the political mess we see elsewhere."
The party leadership has defended the management of the Andalusian Government, calling it a "guarantee of progress" and warning of the risks of any setback for Andalucía. The relevance of infrastructure as a fundamental pillar for territorial cohesion, job creation, wealth, and equal opportunities has been emphasized.
In the last eight years, 38 billion euros have been invested in capital in Andalucía, which has allowed progress on projects that were stalled. Among the prominent works in the province of Almería are the Almanzora highway, with an investment of 50 million euros, the duplication of the Vera-Garrucha road, and the rehabilitation of the Capital City Hall.
Currently, relevant projects are underway, such as the drafting of a new section of the Almanzora Highway between Fines and Olula del Río, the integration of the Port-City, and the future intermodal station within the AVE underground project. The political party has contrasted these advances with a previous model that, in their view, generated insecurity and delayed infrastructure, citing as an example the delay in the arrival of high-speed rail to the province, scheduled for 2030.
Finally, the importance of the May 17 election has been reiterated, presenting it as a choice between a model of progress and stability or one of improvisation and delay, urging votes to consolidate the growth of Almería and Andalucía.
