Iconic Almería Businesses Seek New Owners: From Pubs to Supermarkets

A dozen establishments, including bars, restaurants, a pub, and a supermarket, are advertising their transfer in the center of Almería.

Various commercial establishments in the heart of Almería, ranging from nightlife venues to supermarkets, have put up 'for transfer' or 'for rent' signs, reflecting the constant dynamism of the local business fabric.

The capital of Almería is experiencing a notable rotation in its commercial landscape, with numerous businesses seeking a change of hands. This trend is observed on platforms like Idealista, where transfers are advertised for premises ranging from emblematic nightlife spots to neighborhood supermarkets.
Among the establishments looking for a new owner is the Aljaima Restaurant, located on the prestigious Jovellanos street. This venue, with almost two decades of history and now permanently closed, is offered for 70,000 euros for transfer or 3,000 euros for monthly rent. With over 150 square meters and distinctive Arabic decor, it represents a unique opportunity due to its prime location.
Not far from there, near the Cuatro Calles area, is Callaíto, a restaurant-cafeteria that has changed hands several times and is being transferred for 50,000 euros or 2,500 euros per month, while remaining operational. Another bar in the center, El Molino, on Gabriel Callejón street, is advertised for 115,000 euros or 1,000 euros in monthly rent. This establishment opened a couple of years ago, linked to the owners of the renowned Terraza El Molino in Las Negras.
The bar La Uva Roja, located in the popular Plaza Marqués de Heredia (known as Plaza de los Burros), is also for sale for 125,000 euros. This venue, with capacity for 20 indoor tables and 16 on the terrace, allows for the continuation of its current model or the implementation of a new concept, and is ready for immediate operation.
In the nightlife sector, the pub Camerino, situated near the Central Market and Rambla Obispo Orberá, is being transferred for 160,000 euros or 2,600 euros in monthly rent. Its advertisement highlights an "unbeatable location, with high pedestrian traffic throughout the day and great nightlife attendance".
Finally, a large supermarket, the Carrefour Express on Rambla de Almería near Oliveros, is also seeking a new owner. The reason for the transfer is the owner's retirement. This establishment has the highest price among all those advertised on Idealista, costing 420,000 euros or a monthly rent of 5,900 euros.
