The wildfire in Los Gallardos, Almería, remains active, but the operational teams face this Saturday with more favorable meteorological conditions. They are confident in leveraging the reduced wind to contain the most challenging fire fronts.
The highest fire activity is currently concentrated in the western sector, while the situation has improved significantly in the eastern zone. The perimeter affected by the fire now spans approximately 5,000 hectares.
As a consequence of the fire's scale, around 1,400 people remain evacuated from their homes, awaiting the opportunity to return once the situation is under control.
