Two professionals from the Emergency Service at the La Zubia Health Center were physically assaulted this Saturday by a patient within the healthcare facilities. Both workers are reported to be well, although they have been placed on stress leave due to the incident.
Sources from the Junta confirmed the double assault, in response to which the Health District has organized a protest gathering scheduled for next Wednesday at 1:30 PM at the center's entrance.
The events took place on Saturday afternoon. The aggressor, identified as a psychiatric patient, was arrested by the Guardia Civil and brought before the judicial authorities.

From the City Council of La Zubia, Mayor Purificación López has expressed her support and condemned the violence. The council has called on residents and institutional representatives to participate in the protest event organized by the Health District.
