The incident occurred around 02:40 AM at kilometer 252 of the aforementioned highway. Following the accident, units from the Guardia Civil, Firefighters, and health services were quickly dispatched, and Road Maintenance personnel were also notified.
The driver, whose leg was trapped inside the vehicle's cabin, was rescued by firefighters. He was then transported to the Hospital de Neurotraumatología in Granada for medical treatment.
The damaged trailer occupied part of the left lane of the road in the direction of Almería, leading to the closure of this section until its removal. This situation caused traffic disruptions at that point on the A-92, as reported by the DGT through its official channels.
