The vehicles, presented at the Escúzar Industrial Estate, are equipped with state-of-the-art technology. These systems enable route optimization, improved collection times, enhanced operator safety, and reduced environmental impact.
The acquisition reflects the Consortium's effort to modernize and strengthen the material resources of the public company Sercovira, responsible for waste management. The goal is to provide a more efficient, sustainable service adapted to current demands.
The new trucks feature enhanced capabilities to meet selective collection needs, promoting the implementation of the brown bin for organic waste. This initiative is part of a broader equipment renewal process.
“"These new vehicles allow us to take a leap in service quality, improving response capacity and ensuring more effective collection in all municipalities."
The Consortium is also conducting environmental information and education campaigns to encourage proper waste separation and promote responsible habits, aiming to increase recycling rates and comply with European regulations.
The investment reaffirms the Vega Sierra Elvira Consortium's commitment to continuous improvement of public services, environmental protection, and the development of tools for more efficient and sustainable urban waste management.
