The Civil Guard has dismantled a significant center dedicated to the production of marijuana and hashish in an industrial warehouse located in Santa Fe. The operation, named 'Corvus Aule', has resulted in the arrest of two Bulgarian nationals, aged 29 and 30, who face charges for alleged drug cultivation and processing, trafficking of narcotics, and electricity fraud.

The investigation began in April after receiving information about potential illicit activity in a warehouse within the municipality's industrial park. Subsequent surveillance confirmed that the facilities were operating as a large-scale drug production center. On May 25th, a judicially authorized search was conducted, involving officers from the Armilla Company's Citizen Security unit and technicians from Endesa to detect illegal power connections.

During the search, the two suspects attempted to escape upon being surprised by officers but were located and apprehended shortly after in a nearby olive grove. According to the investigation, both resided within the warehouse and were responsible for overseeing and maintaining the infrastructure.

Inside the warehouse, approximately 4,000 square meters, areas equipped for all stages of the production process were found, from cloning and cultivation to drying, processing, and packaging. Remains of over 1,000 mother plants were discovered, indicating mass production of clones. Endesa technicians confirmed an illegal power tap with a consumption significantly higher than that of a conventional home.

In total, 1,066 plants of cannabis sativa were seized, including 58 mother plants, along with 31.15 kilograms of vacuum-sealed marijuana, 13.6 kilograms of cannabis pollen, and 6.46 kilograms of chopped marijuana. The cultivation and production equipment confiscated is valued at 150,000 euros. The detainees were handed over to the Santa Fe Court of First Instance, which ordered their provisional imprisonment.
