The first incident occurred on the GR-3303 road, which connects Las Gabias and Alhendín. At approximately 8:50 a.m., a head-on collision took place at kilometer 7. Personnel from the Guardia Civil, Local Police, 061 health services, and Granada Fire Department were deployed to the scene, where they had to extricate three people trapped inside the vehicles.
Subsequently, around 12:00 p.m., a second accident occurred on the GR-30, the Granada Bypass, at kilometer 20 heading towards Bailén. In this instance, a collision between two vehicles resulted in injuries to a 42-year-old man.
Emergency services confirmed that all those affected were transported to hospitals for medical treatment. Regarding the bypass accident, the Hospital Clínico San Cecilio received the injured man, while witnesses reported that one of the vehicles also struck the road's median.
