Shortly after, at 02:34 AM, Las Gabias experienced a magnitude 1.8 earthquake at zero depth. The most intense tremor of the night took place at 04:07 AM in Gójar, with a magnitude of 2.2 and shallow depth.
The sequence continued with another magnitude 1.6 movement at 04:15 AM in Ogíjares, followed by a 2.2 magnitude quake in Alhendín at 04:29 AM, also at zero depth. The last recorded tremor was in Otura at 05:43 AM, with a magnitude of 2.5 and 1 kilometer below the surface.
This nocturnal activity followed a daytime marked by several notable earthquakes. The most significant occurred on Tuesday at 10:37 AM, with a magnitude of 4.8 and an epicenter initially located in Alhendín, though later corrected by the National Geographic Institute (IGN). This movement was clearly felt throughout the province.
This was followed by perceptible aftershocks, including a magnitude 3.9 in Churriana de la Vega and a 2.6 in Las Gabias, both at zero depth. The morning continued with another magnitude 4.2 earthquake in Alhendín at 11:34 AM and a magnitude 4 quake in Ogíjares at 12:39 PM.
Seismic activity extended into the afternoon, with movements located between 12:46 PM and 2:44 PM in municipalities such as La Zubia, Armilla, Alhendín, and Churriana de la Vega, maintaining tension among residents.
The day concluded with a final movement of magnitude 3.4 southwest of Ogíjares at 10:35 PM, with an estimated depth of five kilometers, leaving the province on alert and awaiting the evolution of this seismic swarm.
