The incident occurred early Tuesday morning when a passenger car veered off the road at kilometer 7 of the aforementioned highway, according to information from the 112 Andalusia Service.
The 061 Health Emergency Center alerted 112, and the coordination center immediately dispatched the Traffic Civil Guard, Local Police, Road Maintenance, and Granada Firefighters. The latter had to extricate one of the victims.
As a result of the crash, four people sustained injuries of varying severity and were transferred to the San Cecilio Clinical Hospital. The injured include a 37-year-old man, two women aged 25 and 39, and the 3-year-old minor.
