The Local Police and Civil Protection of Armilla decisively intervened to assist a man who suffered a cerebral hemorrhage, transporting him to the hospital due to the absence of an ambulance, according to municipal sources.
The events unfolded when the affected man's relatives unsuccessfully attempted to request an ambulance. Faced with no response, a neighbor alerted the Armilla Local Police, who arrived at the home along with members of the municipal Civil Protection.
Members of both bodies collaborated to transport the man from an upper floor of his residence to the hospital. The Local Police emphasized that, given the seriousness of the situation and the scarcity of professional health resources available at that moment, the speed and coordination of those involved were fundamental.
Special mention to the work of Civil Protection, whose volunteers acted with great professionalism, closeness, and effectiveness, being key in the initial care.
The family of the man, who was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, publicly expressed their gratitude on Facebook to the municipal bodies for their help. His daughter highlighted that the prompt action allowed for crucial medical attention for his recovery.
