This financial allocation brings the total resources dedicated by the council to improving infrastructure, public services, and urban spaces in Albolote, El Chaparral, and the various urbanizations of the municipality to eight million euros.
The project, named Albolote Crece+, focuses on four priority actions. The largest portion of the budget, one million euros, will be allocated to the second phase of the El Chaparral sports complex, which includes the construction of a 7-a-side football pitch. Additionally, 800,000 euros have been set aside for the acquisition of a property to house the new facilities for the Local Police and Civil Protection.
The plan also includes an investment of 600,000 euros for the replacement of artificial turf on the 11-a-side and 7-a-side football pitches at the municipal sports center, aiming to improve the safety and quality of the facilities. Finally, an additional 75,000 euros have been assigned to the Occupational Center to update its tender and ensure the continuity of the service.
The local administration emphasized that these funds come entirely from its own resources, the result of responsible economic management and healthy accounts, allowing the surplus to be reinvested in direct improvements for the citizens.
