Athletes from the Trotasierra Hornachuelos Club demonstrated their superiority in the event, adding another triumph to their record.
In the women's category, Yolanda López clearly won the eight-kilometer circuit, crossing the finish line first with a time of 32:40. Second place went to Inmaculada Rivera (independent) with 35:35, followed by María del Pilar Zurita (Indea) in third with 36:08.
The men's category was also marked by the dominance of Trotasierra Hornachuelos, which secured the top three positions. Jesús Alguacil took the win with a time of 26:54, closely followed by his teammate Antonio Montero (27:10). Juan Muñoz completed the men's podium with 27:32.
Following this stop in Posadas, the Provincial Popular Races Circuit will continue next Friday, May 22, with the XI Carrera Popular Villa de Pedro Abad.
