Residents interested in renewing or applying for their National Identity Document or Passport for the first time can register at the City Council starting August 28th. A maximum number of appointments will be available.
The scheduled hours for obtaining ID cards during these days will be approximately from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Applicants must pay the corresponding fee: 12.00 euros for the ID card and 30.00 euros for the Passport. Issuance will be free for beneficiaries of the Large Family status, who must present a valid card or title.
For the first ID card registration, a literal birth certificate from the Civil Registry, a recent color photograph (32x26 mm, white background), and a certificate or proof of residence are required. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with their ID, or an authorized relative with their ID and a photocopy of the parent/guardian's ID.
For renewal, a recent color photograph, the previous ID card (expired), and a certificate or proof of residence if the address has changed are needed. If there are changes to parentage details, a literal birth certificate is required.
For obtaining an ID card in case of loss, a recent color photograph and proof of residence are requested if the address has changed. The necessary documentation for the passport will be provided upon appointment request.
