Officers from the National Police, as part of the special operation established for the Copa del Rey final, have seized a significant amount of dangerous material from groups of radical fans traveling to Seville. The operation took place on the A4 highway, near the Cordovan municipality of La Carlota.
During the intervention, 91 people were identified, and blunt objects such as knives, sticks, a pistol holster, chains, and balaclavas were confiscated. This material could presumably have been used in clashes with other fans.

In addition to the action in La Carlota, during the early hours of Saturday, controls and identifications were carried out in Seville on ultra fans from the participating teams. These inspections uncovered blunt material camouflaged in vehicles, including a box containing 95 iron bars, vests, helmets, brass knuckles, flares, knives, and pepper spray.
These interventions are part of a comprehensive operation involving 1,600 agents, deployed both in the city of Seville and at the points of origin, arrival, and travel routes of the fans.
