The municipality of Guadalcázar will benefit from €187,510.76 in funding from the 2026 Diputación Plan, a strategy for the reconstruction of Córdoba. Specific agreements were signed this Friday at the Palacio de la Merced, headquarters of the Diputación de Córdoba. The event was presided over by the President of the Diputación, Salvador Fuentes, and attended by mayors from across the province. Representing Guadalcázar, Mayor Domingo Reina signed the municipal agreement.
The provincial investment will be distributed across several areas. The Sports sector will receive the largest allocation with €72,959.05. These funds will be used for hiring a lifeguard for the municipal pool, replacing the technical flooring in the Raquel Hernández Rufs Municipal Pavilion (€64,825.75), and acquiring sports equipment and machinery for the municipal gym (€5,846).
In Commerce and Tourism, €29,463.80 will be allocated, including the hiring of a tourism technician (€16,003.80) and the installation of signage figures at the municipality's entrances and exits (€13,460).
The plan also includes an investment of €18,963.28 in Housing and Urbanism for the hiring of seven masonry foremen to carry out maintenance and improvement work. The Community Welfare area will receive €15,961.23 for the hiring of three cleaning laborers.
Furthermore, the Education area will receive €15,961.23 to incorporate three cleaning and maintenance caretakers at the public school. In the Cultural sphere, €12,015.06 is reserved for hiring five professors for the Municipal Music School, and €5,760.61 for two leisure and free-time monitors.
Finally, the program includes €13,126.50 for an administrative assistant in General Administration and €3,300 for actions in Social Services. With these agreements, Guadalcázar Town Hall can begin processing the planned actions to boost investments, improve services, and promote employment.
