The initiative, aimed at promoting equality, culture, and participation, will bring together women and citizens from the region's municipalities. The day will begin at 10:00 AM with the reception of participants.
At 10:30 AM, the conference "Visible Women in the Guadiato" will be held, led by María Dolores Pérez, a psychologist from the Guadiato Regional Council for Women. This talk aims to highlight the presence, experiences, and contributions of women in the region's rural areas.
Starting at 11:00 AM, a varied program will unfold, including stands featuring regional products and crafts, an 8.5-kilometer hiking route themed around Robert Capa and the Civil War, as well as a guided tour and craft and Zumba workshops.
A central coexistence lunch, scheduled for 2:30 PM, will serve as a meeting point for women and residents from across the region. Later, at 4:30 PM, "Voices and Routes of Women in the Guadiato" will be screened, a proposal from the Guadiato Regional Council for Women that showcases the female role in the territory.
The event will conclude at 5:30 PM with a musical performance by the group XHARMA, marking the end of a day focused on strengthening bonds and advocating for the importance of equality and women's participation in rural areas.
Participation costs 5 euros, and registrations can be made through the Equality Departments of the Guadiato Town Halls.
