In observance of the festivities, the City Council has established regulations for placing chairs on public streets for the processions of Nuestra Señora de Gracia, scheduled for Saturday, August 15. Residents may place their chairs starting at 2:00 PM, and vehicles parked along the procession route must be removed before this time.
After the procession concludes, chairs and furniture must be removed immediately to allow municipal services to clean and maintain public streets, thereby preventing obstacles and risks for pedestrians and traffic.
The Local Police will enforce these schedules and may remove items installed outside the established times, applying corresponding sanctions as per the municipal ordinance.
Furthermore, a call is made for public cooperation in maintaining the cleanliness of streets, parks, and squares, encouraging the use of permanent and temporary bins. It is recommended to optimize packaging use to reduce waste generation.
Residents must deposit trash in designated containers during the set hours (9:00 PM to 12:00 AM) and avoid leaving furniture or household items in the streets. The placement of construction containers on streets affected by the processions is prohibited.
For safety and cleaning efficiency, areas treated with anti-wax product must be respected. Additionally, a reduced and reasonable use of rockets and fireworks is requested to ensure everyone's well-being, especially the most vulnerable. Rocket launches will be authorized at key moments, such as the procession departure on Saturday, August 15 at 8:30 PM and upon the image's return to the parish.
Finally, attendees are urged to maintain respectful behavior towards others, showing special consideration for the elderly, children, and individuals with reduced mobility. Non-compliance with these regulations may result in financial penalties.
