The Trina Rull Public School in Olula del Río marked its 50th anniversary with a special day that brought together hundreds of former students, teachers, and families.

Half a century after opening its doors in 1976, the Trina Rull Public School in Olula del Río has commemorated its 50th anniversary. The celebration brought together hundreds of former students, teachers, staff, and families, marking a milestone for the educational center that has been significant for thousands of residents in the Valle del Almanzora region.
The event, organized by former students and teachers, included an inaugural ceremony in the school's courtyard, followed by a popular paella lunch at the municipal Nave Polivalente, with the collaboration of the Olula del Río City Council. These activities fostered emotional reunions and shared memories of time spent in the classrooms.
A highlight was the screening of the documentary "50 años ya" (50 Years Now), which chronicles the school's evolution from its beginnings in the seventies to the present day. Attendees also explored exhibitions of graphic and historical materials that reconstructed the school's collective memory.
The afternoon featured a cultural gala with testimonials from former students, musical performances, choreography inspired by different eras of the school's history, and theatrical representations such as "El cartero del Rey" (The King's Postman) and "La Tutoría" (The Tutoring Session). The song "Todos somos parte tuya" (We are all part of you) was also performed as a symbol of the commemoration.
The celebration concluded with a popular festival featuring live music, bringing a festive end to a day many attendees described as historic.
