The intervention, budgeted at 165,400 euros, will focus on renewing the pavement with imprinted concrete, eliminating sinkholes, and stabilizing walls. Additionally, drainage systems, sidewalks, and curbs will be improved, and urban furniture will be replaced.
These works, expected to commence this summer once the contract is awarded, will have a three-month execution period. The tender is open to interested companies until July 8th.
According to the Jaén City Council, the project has been coordinated with the neighborhood association to ensure the street and park facilitate normalized transit and provide peace of mind to local residents.
The Councilor for Urban Maintenance, Javier Padorno, highlighted the "significant processing" undertaken to address the area's progressive needs, ensuring ground stability against potential slips.
