Throughout Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27, the city will offer a variety of events including guided tours, cultural experiences, and outdoor routes. This celebration coincides with the tenth anniversary of the city being awarded the 2016 Andalucía Tourism Award for Excellence in Tourism Management, recognizing its ongoing commitment to enhancing the visitor experience.
Saturday's program will feature the activity “Al Son de las Artes”, part of the Patios con Arte cycle. Sunday will concentrate most of the activities: the Jewish Necropolis will have guided tours at 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM, while the Roman Pottery of Los Tejares can be visited with a guide at 12:00 PM.
Additionally, free audioguided visits will be available at the Castle of Moral and Archaeological and Ethnological Museum (from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM) and the Palace of the Counts of Santa Ana (from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM).
The program also includes a circular route along the Cerro de las Puertas Trail, starting at 10:00 AM from Olivino, in Las Navas del Selpillar. This low-difficulty route covers 5.187 kilometers and is expected to last about an hour and a half, requiring prior registration.
In line with UN Tourism's 2026 theme, “Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence for Redesigning Tourism,” Lucena continues to integrate technology. Free access to audioguides in key locations such as the Castle of Moral, the Archaeological and Ethnological Museum, and the Palace of the Counts of Santa Ana allows visitors to explore these sites at their own pace.
