Lucena's offering, aimed at bringing expressions of local identity to the public, includes a tasting of extra virgin olive oils from the DOP Aceite de Lucena, a traditional ceramics workshop, and a performance by the group Aras Musical. These activities will take place between the afternoon of Friday, October 23rd, and the day of Saturday, October 24th, at the Córdoba Exhibition, Fair, and Convention Center.
The program will begin on Friday, October 23rd, at 5:00 PM with a tasting of extra virgin olive oils from DOP Aceite de Lucena at the Showcooking stage, with a capacity for 50 people. The following day, Saturday, October 24th, at 1:30 PM, the Lucena Ceramics Workshop will be held at the Artisanal Workshops stage, designed to showcase one of the city's traditional crafts.
Lucena's participation will conclude on Saturday at 7:15 PM with the Aras Musical concert, titled ‘Lucena en Cuerda y Alma’ (Lucena on String and Soul), at the Folkloric Activities stage. The performance will review the group's repertoire, featuring compositions by local authors and pieces related to popular celebrations, promoted by Turismo de Lucena.
The fair, promoted by the Provincial Council of Córdoba through the Provincial Institute of Economic Development (Iprodeco), will bring together 63 agri-food companies and offer 48 activities. The venue will be open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, and from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, with free admission and a shuttle bus service.
