The project, with a tender budget of 350,451.66 euros (VAT included), aims to meet the growing demand for these facilities. According to the local government, the tender will be launched in the coming days, with an estimated execution period of four months once awarded.
The design includes the installation of towers, castles, and play circuits near the main entrance, as well as a large trampoline area. To accommodate this, the space will be slightly expanded towards the picnic area.
This initiative is part of the project 'Cultural and natural spaces to connect and enhance urban identity,' funded by EU FEDER funds and framed within the Lucena 2030 Urban Agenda.
“"With this new investment, we are advancing the development of the PAI and promoting public spaces that are more complete, accessible, and attractive for citizens."
The project complements other ongoing improvements at Europa Park, such as slope treatment, awarded to Europavimentos Padul for 130,844.91 euros, and the replacement of the southern enclosure, which has already been completed.
