The Councilor for Urban Planning, Charo Valverde, has detailed the administrative status of PERI NS-1 in Las Navas del Selpillar, aiming to inform residents about the progress in its development. The first request for the reception of urbanization works dates back to February 2009, and following a resident petition in 2021, the City Council advanced the process, which concluded in 2022 with the tacit reception of the urbanization, given its execution status.
A report from Aguas de Lucena (Lucena Water) in May 2021 identified deficiencies in the supply and sanitation networks, with pending repairs. Valverde stated that, after the urbanization's reception, it is the City Council's responsibility to carry out these actions to ensure the proper functioning of the infrastructure.
The councilor reassured plot owners, clarifying that infrastructure issues do not prevent the granting of building permits, which can be applied for normally. The City Council plans to coordinate pending works with the start of future constructions. Currently, no permit applications have been submitted, nor is there a final economic valuation, as the real condition of the networks is still being analyzed.
Charo Valverde reaffirmed the municipal commitment to the urban development of Las Navas del Selpillar, highlighting recent investments such as PFEA projects, the Villages Plan, improvements to cemetery accessibility, the construction of a paddle tennis court, and the future pedestrian path to Moriles.
