The 2026 Royal Fair in Priego de Córdoba will take place from August 31 to September 5. The Councilor for Festivals, Antonio Navas, and the Mayor, Juan Ramón Valdivia, have presented a program aiming to be "varied, participatory, and safe," combining tradition, family activities, flamenco, concerts, and offerings for all audiences.
As a prelude, on August 25 and 26, musical visits will be made to senior residences. The fair will officially begin on August 31 with the traditional parade of Giants and Big-Heads, followed by the lighting of the special illumination. That night, singer Sole Siles and the group Planeta 80 will perform, while the Caseta de la Alegría will host the Dúo Alcalá.
September 1 is Children's Day, featuring reduced prices on attractions, a free children's snack, and entertainment for the youngest. The evening will include concerts by Antonio Romero and Pepe Santiago at the Caseta de la Alegría.
On September 2, attractions will operate without music between 7 PM and 9 PM to facilitate enjoyment for minors with autism spectrum disorder. The evening program includes the reggaeton tribute "Con Más Flow," the group No Me Pises Que Llevo Chanclas, and the local group Musical Abril.
September 3, a local holiday, hosts the Flamenco Day with competitions for sevillanas and flamenco costumes. The main performance will be "Mujeres por Sevillanas" featuring Las Carlotas, Las Soles, and María de la Colina. Mi Hermano y Yo, Rocío Soto, and Dúo Alcalá will also perform.
September 4 highlights local talent with a performance by young artist Paula Soleil. Later, Mojinos Escozíos, a well-known Andalusian band, will perform.
The fair concludes on September 5 with the traditional Livestock Fair. In the evening, there will be a trovo contest, fireworks, and the performance of Street Cats. The Municipal Caseta will close the fair with concerts by cover band Los Vinilos and Lérica.
Mayor Juan Ramón Valdivia also presented the official poster, designed by Rubén Lucas García, winner of the municipal contest. The poster incorporates representative elements of Priego de Córdoba and references to olive oil.
Valdivia emphasized that the Royal Fair is "one of the best fairs in the province of Córdoba," highlighting both the prepared program and the security measures.
