The Royal Fair of Priego de Córdoba will hold its 2026 edition from August 25 to September 5, offering a varied program that includes activities for seniors and children, concerts, bullfights, and a livestock fair.

The City Council of Priego de Córdoba has officially presented the program for the 2026 Royal Fair, an event that combines tradition, live music, family activities, sports, and popular culture. The Councilor for Festivities, Antonio Navas, detailed the planned activities, while the mayor, Juan Ramón Valdivia, unveiled the promotional poster.
The fair will officially begin on August 31, but pre-fair activities will start on August 25 with visits from the Municipal Corporation to residences and senior centers, such as the San Juan de Dios Residence and the Active Participation Center. The XXXIV Royal Fair Tennis Open and the VI Petanque Championship will also be held.
The opening night will feature the parade of Giants and Big-Heads, performances by Sole Siles and Planeta 80 at the Municipal Booth, and the Dúo Alcalá at the «La Alegría» Dance Booth. September 1st will be Children's Day, with special prices on attractions and free children's activities.
A noise-free time slot (7:00 PM - 9:00 PM) will be maintained on September 2 for individuals with autism spectrum disorder, followed by concerts by Con Más Flow and No Me Pises Que Llevo Chanclas. September 3rd will host the Flamenco Costume Day, with contests and performances like Mujeres por Sevillanas.
The bullfighting event will take place on September 4, the same day that Paula Soleil and Mojinos Escozíos will perform. The fair will conclude on September 5 with the traditional Livestock Fair and closing concerts by the cover band Los Vynilos and Lérica.
The poster for the 2026 Royal Fair, created by Rubén Lucas García, is inspired by the «Andalusian Heritage» tourism campaign and integrates elements such as the Church of Carmen, the City Hall facade, and extra virgin olive oil, reflecting the traditional essence and heritage richness of the city.
Mayor Juan Ramón Valdivia highlighted the fair's evolution, emphasizing coexistence, participation, and quality, consolidating it as a meeting point for residents and visitors.
