The new parking facility, situated in the former DIA supermarket premises, will primarily allocate spaces to municipal residents. In the first phase, 40 spaces will be offered on the basement level, with plans to progressively increase capacity once the upper floor's refurbishment works are completed.
Eligibility requirements for applying include having no outstanding debts with the City Council or Servicios Públicos, being the owner of a car or motorcycle, possessing the corresponding driving license, and being up-to-date with Vehicle Tax payments. The call for applications includes three adjudication groups: individuals with reduced mobility, registered residents, and individuals or legal entities conducting economic activity in the municipality.
The deadline for submitting applications is 15 calendar days from the day following the publication of the call on the municipal website and the electronic headquarters' notice board. Applications can be submitted electronically or via email.
Allocation will be based on competitive bidding, with a scoring system prioritizing proximity of residence or business to the parking lot. The monthly rates approved by the City Council are 42.27 euros for cars and 20.54 euros for motorcycles.
The new parking facility is expected to become operational in approximately two months, following the completion of the facility's adaptation works.
